Speeding in residential areas is a serious safety concern, especially for pedestrians. To help curb this issue, the Oswego Police Department offers residents the chance to participate in the Speed Watch Program. Residents can borrow a radar unit for free to monitor vehicle speeds on their street and report violations. The data collected can lead to increased traffic enforcement and driver education.
Interested in joining? Stop by the Oswego Police Department at 3355 Woolley Road to fill out a registration form and get started. Training is provided to all participants.
