John, did you see
this?
Rep. Mike Collins represents the district where Apalachee High School is
located. His response? Thoughts and prayers. This is a man who casually
flaunted a gun in his campaign launch video:

He has simply been tweeting all day yesterday, downplaying the severity of
this horrific news.
And Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene? She’s just tweeted her thoughts and
prayers. But we remember when she harassed us and claimed Parkland was a
"false flag," and then went viral a few years ago for a video claiming she
is going to give away a 50 caliber rifle.

How can someone be so casual, let alone excited, about weapons of war when
there’s an epidemic of violence in our country?
When our elected leaders flaunt guns in our faces, it’s another way of
showing their complacency. Showing that they don’t care about what
happens, as long as they can keep their guns.
We refuse to accept this — which is why we’re calling on these two
“representatives” to resign immediately. [ [link removed] ]If you agree with us, that
they have no place in Congress, sign our petition now.

Politicians like Rep. Collins and Rep. Greene are too comfortable in their
positions, giving away thoughts and prayers (and apparently guns too). But
we’re paying attention to their empty words and dangerous actions, and we
are prepare to do the work to replace them in office.
Thank you for all your support.
In solidarity,
March for our Lives
