Facing Fentanyl Together
Join Us at a Facing Fentanyl Together Resource Fair on Friday, September 20, 2024!

Like so much of the country, Washington state is amid a growing fentanyl/opioid crisis.

Overdose deaths have doubled in just three years. Community collaboration is key to the response.

The Department of Social and Health Services, Department of Health, Health Care Authority, tribes and community partners are hosting 26 Facing Fentanyl Together resource fairs at the same time on the same day across the state.

These events take place from *1-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024. *

Head to the resource fair closest to you to hear from experts, people with lived experience and community programs to learn and get resources so that you are prepared to respond to your needs or the needs of a loved one.

Join your local resource fair to learn about fentanyl, reversing overdose, or the root causes of substance use disorder, and the risk to youth. These fairs may include demonstrations and presentations on dispelling stigma and myth, discussions on treatment and recovery, and tribal/cultural events and youth activities. Each fair is based on the needs of local communities.

Please join us at any of our 26 events from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024.
