TRINITY METRO TEXRAIL SERVICE DISRUPTION, SEPT. 24

 

Trinity Metro TEXRail will have a partial service disruption on Tuesday, Sept. 24, because of work being done for DART's Silver Line project. Service between Fort Worth T&P Station and Grapevine/Main Street Station will operate as usual. Bus transportation will be provided between Grapevine/Main Street Station and DFW Airport Terminal B Station. The bus will provide express service between those two stations and will not serve DFW Airport North Station.

Exciting changes for our operations are coming soon! Fare simplification, increased frequency and rebranding are among the modifications that will launch on Sunday, Sept. 15, as part of our fall service changes.

These modifications were approved by the board after careful consideration of public input received during a recent open comment period and public hearing.

* Increase weekday frequency to 15 minutes
* Increase weekend frequency to 30 minutes

*Route 15 Stockyards/North Main*


* Rebrand as the Orange Line
* Adjust route downtown to accommodate more hotel stops
* Extend weeknight service to match weekend schedule of 15-minute frequency

*Route 23 TCC Northeast Campus/TRE*


* Discontinue and replace with on-demand service
* Point-to-point service between Trinity Lakes Station and TCC Northeast

*Route 28 Mansfield Hwy/Sierra Vista*


* Discontinue route
* Route is served by existing On-Demand Southeast boundaries
