Today, we’re facing an unprecedented moment of need—but we’re also seeing unparalleled generosity from our neighbors and strangers alike. It is in that spirit that I’m thrilled to announce our participation in the #GivingTuesdayNow day of global giving and unity this Tuesday, May 5th.

Recognizing this urgent moment, a generous anonymous donor has pledged to match every gift made to our Children in Crisis Fund between now and midnight on May 5th, up to $50,000.

Children who were already behind in school are now falling further behind their peers. Children are aging out of foster care without a family to support them or a home to shelter in. Children are going hungry because they can no longer count on two nutritious meals a day at school. The Children in Crisis Fund was established to meet the urgent needs of these children, and that’s the reason I’m asking you to make a gift today.
