John,
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been endorsed by the United Teachers of Dade, a union of professionals who work to advance the cause of public education, representing 27,000 teachers and other employees in the Miami-Dade County School System.

Unlike my opponent who voted for DeSantis’ “Union Busting Bill” — when I served in the State Senate, I fought for our teachers and students. I supported increasing teacher pay, voted for creating a school safety commission and against allowing firearms in public schools, and stood against censorship — because I believe in leadership that puts our community, not special interests or political agendas, first.
That’s the kind of leadership I’ll bring to the Clerk of Court and Comptroller.
