That might sound like plenty of time, but when you’re in a tossup race where every vote matters, you have to make every day count. Now that it’s election season, undecided voters will start to tune in, and it’s critical that Democrats running for swing seats have the resources to reach them.
A lot of polls are coming back showing really encouraging numbers for the presidential race and key Senate seats.
But polls like these don’t mean our work is done — they mean we need to work twice as hard to keep our momentum up.
Polling is very unreliable, especially in presidential elections, especially two months before the election. Vice President Kamala Harris being ahead by one or two points in a poll right now means that the race for the White House is a tossup at best.
