Dear John
Early voting begins in the battleground state of Pennsylvania in just two weeks on September 16.
Out of all the battleground states, Pennsylvania is the KEY with the largest number of electoral votes. In 2020, President Biden won it by only 1.1% of the vote (80,000 votes) and experts believe the margin is just as close in 2024 for the Harris-Walz ticket.
Fortunately, your Feminist Majority and our political action arm, Vote for Equality, has organized and is mobilizing to turn out a winning number of student voters on 17 college and university campuses in critically important districts of Pennsylvania.
BUT... your help is immediately needed. We urgently need last minute funds. I hope you will chip in $10, $15, $25 or even $50 so we can assure the winning margin in this critical state.

There comes a moment-- the warning is piercing-- when you know that all-out action is the only response to the threat of Trump-Vance and their MAGA allies.
You and I both know that if ever there was a time to get off the sidelines and get out our wallets, it’s now. Immediately. [[link removed]]
We are facing a reality where:
● Teenage rape survivors are being forced into motherhood.
● Pregnant women are compelled to flee their home state to receive proper reproductive health care.
● The abortion pill, IVF, and even birth control are all now on the chopping block.
● The future of Title IX, anti-discrimination laws, marriage equality, and even essential healthcare itself are top targets for elimination.
The goals of the extremist MAGA Republicans and their rogue majority in the U.S. Supreme Court are clear. They have declared a War on Women and Girls and on the LGBTQ+ community. Their aim is unmistakable: to roll back the clock and strip away our rights and freedoms.
BUT… the past cannot be re-lived. We know our power. We have the votes. We’re not going back.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. We have assembled a large team of enthusiastic Campus Organizers across campuses in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania. Now we need your immediate financial help in the final run up to Early Voting on September 16 and for Election Day itself.
Polls show that women—young and old—rank abortion and women’s rights high in determining their votes in 2024. There’s no question both the Gender Gap and campus vote will prove decisive in this election, and young women are leading the charge, converting their fear and anger into action.
Your contribution—whatever amount you can give—will help us meet the costs of staffing, training, and equipping our organizers. Together, we can ensure our Get-Out-The-Vote effort produces a record student turnout.
Specifically, your donation to VoteForEquality [[link removed]] will help provide Campus Organizers with handout materials, visible Campus Organizer signs, and access to a Hotline with election experts and attorneys. This will enable them to challenge any attempts to suppress or impede students from voting.
In past elections, we’ve seen the power of mobilizing young voters. From the victorious midterms in 2018 to the historic turnout in 2020, and the recent successes in 2022 and 2023, we know how to win.
Now is the time we must count on each other. Please don’t wait a minute more. Let us know that you will be part of the Feminist Majority’s efforts to turn out young voters in this make-or-break election year and in the make-or-break battleground state of Pennsylvania.
This is the time for each do our part. To go the extra mile. Let history never show that we were silent and inactive and failed to do everything in our power.
Vote –and give-- as if your life depends on it—because it does.
For Victory and Equality,
