Datasets now available: 2016 Annual Probation and Parole Surveys

The Bureau of Justice Statistics has released two datasets on probation and parole through the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). These surveys collect data from U.S. probation and parole agencies that supervise adults. Data include—

  • total number of adults on state and federal probation and parole
  • number of adults entering and exiting probation and parole supervision
  • characteristics of adults under the supervision of probation and parole agencies.
