This ad highlights my work to support my fellow veterans by working across the aisle to build a new treatment center in Maine to help with mental health and substance abuse and secure funding for a nonprofit that helps veterans heal through hunting and fishing.
Having served in Afghanistan and Iraq as a combat veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, I know firsthand some of the challenges that members of the military face when they return home. I know that the best way to honor our veterans is to help ensure that when their service to our nation is completed, they have access to the benefits they earned and the support they need.
That’s why I made a promise as your representative to look out for Maine’s veterans and ensure that they have someone fighting for them as hard as they fought to defend our country. It’s the privilege of a lifetime to continue serving our veterans in Congress.
