I'm writing to invite you to get back to science at my upcoming town hall focused on weather forecasting and preparedness on Sunday, September 22, at 2:00 PM in Woodstock. This is the first in a series of science-themed town halls I'm holding throughout the 11th District.  

We'll be joined by experts from the National Weather Service - a federal agency charged with forecasting the weather to keep people safe - to discuss how scientific research is helping keep our communities safer from severe weather and what you can do to be ready.
