What a month.

Just two weeks ago, we got word that two Republican Super PACs have reserved almost $2 million in television ads against our campaign.

And now, the NRCC announced it is supporting one of Abigail’s six opponents. They’re elevating him and will most certainly spend millions in attack ads to try to win back this seat. VA-07 has always been on the NRCC’s top target list, but this latest action kicks their plan into gear. We need to be clear-eyed in understanding what we’re up against as we work hard work to keep this seat.

And yet, facing this competitive race against the backdrop of the pain, loss, and suffering of this global pandemic strengthens our resolve to win and keep Abigail in Congress – because this pandemic has demonstrated how essential good and deeply caring leadership is to the health and strength of our nation.

In a few hours, we’ll close the books on April. This is the end of the first month of our second quarter - a critical time for every campaign.
