Hi John,

Do you want safer, more environmentally sustainable, financially stable, and well-maintained transportation choices for all Oregonians? Join the Move Oregon Forward transportation roadshow testimony training next week, on Monday, September 9th over Zoom! [[link removed]]

This summer, OLCV joined Move Oregon Forward to work with active transportation, climate, and environmental justice groups to pass forward-thinking legislation in 2025 to benefit every Oregonian in urban and rural communities. We’ll help you prepare for providing written or verbal testimony in front of the Oregon Joint Committee on Transportation at one of their upcoming statewide tour stops, where they’re gathering input on how to fund and invest in transportation in 2025.

Register for the training here: [link removed]

This briefing [[link removed]] is for anyone interested in writing or giving testimony at the upcoming listening tour stops in Hillsboro, Happy Valley, or at the statewide virtual session. We’ll share:
- What’s at stake in the 2025 session
- Information on types of funding mechanisms
- Key messages or stories to share with legislators
- How you can make your voice heard in the listening tour and beyond

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please email [email protected] with any questions. Please share this invitation with your friends, networks, and communities – and save the date for a listening tour stop near you!

Sincerely,
OLCV and the Move Oregon Forward Coalition
