Today is a special day.

It marks the anniversary of our 1st Congressional District special election primary in 2023. It was a night of hope, joy, and opportunity about what was to come. As I stated that night, it was an affirmation of our shared story: that our tomorrows can be better than today with some hard work, grit, resilience and determination.

Once again, we have another election on the horizon.

On September 10, we will have a primary election here in Rhode Island.

On November 5, we will have the most consequential election of our lifetime.

I’ve seen first-hand from my travels to battleground states like New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Georgia, as well as right here at home in Rhode Island, we’re unified in the defense of our freedoms, expansion of economic opportunity, and having a secure future.
