With just over eight weeks to go, this presidential election will be one of the most consequential for immigrants in decades.  

While the NILC Immigrant Justice Fund and our allies have been fighting for a system that treats our communities with dignity and respect, there are forces stoking fear and spreading misinformation to portray immigrants as a threat. 

Republicans made the border and mass deportation of immigrants the centerpiece of their national convention, circulating dangerous propaganda with phrases like “Mass deportation now!” and falsely accusing migrants of taking jobs and stealing votes.  

This fearmongering not only sows division but also distracts from the essential contributions immigrant communities make to our economy and society. 

This election is our chance to gain momentum for meaningful immigration reform, and we need your support to make it happen. With your help, we can elect leaders who will challenge harmful rhetoric, pass comprehensive immigration reform, and ensure that every immigrant, regardless of status, is treated with fairness and respect.
