Friend, it's a well-known tradition for senators to carve their names on their desks in the Senate – some of which have been around since the 1800s. It's less well-known that we get to choose our desks when elected, and even though the desks are all technically the same, it was a decision I took seriously.
|
When I saw the names on desk 88, I knew I had found my Senate home: Robert F. Kennedy, Al Gore Sr., George McGovern, and more – the senators who preceded me at this desk all fought to make our country a better, more equitable place. They helped end segregation, protested the Vietnam War, and fought against wealth disparity. Their legacies inspire me to keep fighting for American families and the Dignity of Work.

But the truth is, I urgently need your help to keep up this fight. Polls show us neck and neck with our Trump-backed opponent – and right now, the GOP is outspending us to flip this seat and the Senate red.
|
With Senate control on the line, I have to ask: Will you chip in $5 or more right now – everything you can spare to activate your membership – so we can fight back, win in Ohio, and keep the Senate blue?

Thank you so much,
