Pramila sat down for an interview with PBS during the Democratic convention.
John, Pramila sat down for an interview with PBS during the Democratic convention, and they asked whether the Harris-Walz ticket is “progressive enough.” Here’s what she had to say:
“Perfection may not be on the ballot, but real progress is.
There’s no question that we can organize towards better policy under a Harris/Walz campaign.
Her focus on housing, raising taxes on the wealthiest corporations, the care economy, paid leave.
And, of course, our freedoms. The freedom to vote, the freedom to make choices about our own body. These are critical issues.”

AOC, another member of the House Progressive Caucus, was right last week when she said progressives have a moral obligation to be effective in advancing our agenda. Right now, making sure Kamala Harris and Tim Walz win this election is the best way to do that.
There’s a reason big corporate donors are lined up behind the Trump-Vance ticket. They know Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and a Democratic Congress will fight for the people, not just for the wealthiest CEOs.
So John, if you’re ready to make progress on progressive priorities like housing, paid leave, childcare, ensuring the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes, and protecting our freedoms, we need your help.
Will you make a grassroots donation of $3 to fight back against the big corporate money on the other side so we can keep Pramila in Congress fighting for us?
