This past weekend was a bit bittersweet.

After eight years,I finished my last session day as a California Legislator.

Representing my community in Sacramento has been one of the highest honors of my life, and I’m deeply grateful to the public for their support and faith in me.

I’m proud to say we achieved some major wins this term, and I will report back soon about my accomplishments in this legislative session.

I’m proud to bring that same effective fight for my community to Congress.

California will play a pivotal role in deciding control of Congress. I’ll be helping, and I know so many of you are too.
