Beloit Fresh Start Moved

Beloit Fresh Start has recently moved to the Merrill Community Center, where it will now be hosting all of its programming. This year's programming commenced on Tuesday, September 3rd. The new location at the Merrill Community Center offers a fresh and inspiring environment for all participants to engage and benefit from the program's offerings.

United Way Day of Caring

United Way Blackhawk Region (UWBR)’s Day of Caring is an annual day of action that connects teams of corporate volunteers with community service projects from across the Blackhawk Region.


Stay tuned for the Day of Caring on September 11th to see how amazing projects are completed to benefit our community. Community Action will be participating in five projects this year, and we are excited to see the results of what volunteerism can do.

Koats for Kids at AWARE

Gently used winter coats, boots, snow pants, hats, and mittens can now be donated at locations around Evansville. Children's sizes 7 through 14/16 are most needed.


All donations will be professionally cleaned before our "Koats for Kids" shop opens in October. Donations will be accepted through September 29.



Place your donations in the red bins at Evansville Congregational United Church of Christ, Creekside Place, Inc., Eager Free Public Library, Evansville United Methodist Church, Lake Ridge Bank (Evansville), St. John's Lutheran Church; Evansville, WI, St. Paul Catholic Church, Kids Korner, and Wee Ones.

Beloit Bundle Up

With cooler weather approaching, we need your help to keep our community warm!


Visit Beloit will be collecting donations of new or gently used coats, hats, and gloves to the Beloit Bundle Up coat drive for Community Action.

Drop your donations off from September 16th - October 21st.
