The National Center for Law and Economic Justice is fighting to ensure that everyone has the resources they need to thrive, not just survive. From expanding access to critical public benefits like SNAP, to combating wage theft, to expanding disability rights, our lawyers are fighting to create structural change for a better future.
We took on ICE when they illegally targeted Migrant Justice leaders for exercising their First Amendment rights in Vermont. We ended an unconstitutional medical debt collection system in Kentucky. And we are partnering with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers to protect human rights for agricultural workers in global supply chains.
Our work requires serious commitment and funding over the long term. As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of people like you to keep our important work going.
The National Center for Law and Economic Justice advances racial and economic justice through ground-breaking impact litigation, policy advocacy, and support for grassroots organizing. We have provided legal representation and support since 1965.
