Maggie Toulouse Oliver, NM Secretary of State

Jack,

As people across the nation are dealing firsthand with a personal and public crisis, we deserve to know that our vote is safe.

Unfortunately, the right to vote wasn’t safe in Wisconsin, and we’re hearing reports that voters have gotten sick. It’s our job to prevent that from ever happening again. This should be clear as day: If voters are able, they need to be given the option to vote safely in their homes.

We need the federal government to take notice of two critical things: 1.) We must prioritize national-vote-by-mail. 2.) We must secure thorough election funding for our states to organize well-running primary elections with absentee voting as a realistic option.

That’s what Maggie is fighting for. But far-right members of the GOP will stop at nothing to push for in-person elections that put our loved ones at risk.

Before the month ends tonight and we need to close the books on our April fundraising, will you chip in to keep Maggie’s voice at the forefront of the national conversation about election and voter safety during the COVID-19 pandemic?
