Dear John,

I just had an opportunity to sit down with Fox News sharing my firsthand experience over the last two years in my role as a Minnesota attorney working in law and public policy for True North Legal, an initiative of Minnesota Family Council. 

Over the last several years, the Walz administration has doubled down on policies that attack innocent human life, family flourishing, and religious freedom in Minnesota. Even the Girl Scouts and 4-H Clubs are not unscathed by aggressive policies mandating compliance with the state’s near liturgical views on gender ideology. And now, the entire country is on notice. Our work to protect and defend life, family, and religious freedom is being used to shine a light on the Walz administration’s progressive agenda which is not only bad for Minnesotans, but could now impact the entire country. And this interview is just another example of how our work is influencing the culture.

As I shared with Fox News, Governor Walz signed a bill that removes statutory protections mandating lifesaving care for infants “born alive who survive an abortion, leaving them to die on a cold metal table. Thus, cattle and reptiles in Minnesota now have more rights than Minnesota's women and preborn children when it comes to abortion.”

But, there’s more! In addition to repealing nearly all of Minnesota’s life affirming legal protections for women, young girls, and pre-born children, and failing to hold the abortion industry accountable, I also discussed the recent passage of laws significantly undermining core Minnesotan values like family flourishing, parental rights, and religious freedom. For example, laws like the so-called trans-refuge bill supported by Walz and his administration separate children from their parents at a time when our kids need us most.

After just two years, the Democratic trifecta has made Minnesota nearly unrecognizable and may have at times been too progressive for some of its own members. Minnesota is now a heartless heartland.

Not joyful. Not moderate.

That is why your engagement is critical for our entire movement! Your prayers and generous support of our True North Legal initiative hold us up on the frontlines of these legal and policy battles. And, as we experienced with the defeat of the so-called Equal Rights Amendment just this past session, with the Lord nothing is impossible!

It gives me great joy and confidence to know that before the beginning of time, God chose us to be fit for the job. Now is our moment!
