REMEMBERING LAHAINA
August 8th marked the first anniversary of the devastating wildfire in Lahaina, the worst natural disaster in Hawaii’s history and the deadliest wildfire in the U.S. in over a century. We honor the more than one hundred lives lost and recognize the resilience of the survivors and their families. The journey for the survivors and their families has been long and it is certainly not over yet. We in the House Republican Caucus recognize the one-year anniversary of the Lahaina fires for the tragedy of the event, the resilience of the survivors, and the call to continue our efforts to support our Maui Ohana
