Let's take stock: Intelligence reports warned the Trump
administration about the global threat of COVID-19 months before
we had our first known virus cases in the United States.

During this time, Trump did nothing to prepare for what was
coming. He did not order planning for a major public health
response and ramp up production and stockpiling of key equipment.
Instead, Trump went on national TV and assured the American
people that COVID-19 would miraculously go away!

Now, months later, we have more than one million cases and
61,000 confirmed COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. And many thousands
more Americans than normal have died during this period -- whether
from the disease itself, COVID-related fear of seeking care, or
other factors.

The truth is that Trump's incompetence has proved deadly, and we
MUST vote him out in November. Give if you can today before our
end-of-month deadline to help us keep up the fight.

Trump hasn't been the only stumbling block in our pandemic
response. Each time Congress has moved to pass critical
legislation supporting first responders, workers, state
governments and small businesses Mitch McConnell and Senate
Republicans have dragged their feet -- wasting time and blocking
important assistance.

McConnell has tried to do as little as possible. He refused to
fund small business relief for more than a couple weeks at a
time. He initially blocked my amendment to target funds to the
most needy mom-and-pop businesses, instead of large national
chains with connections to the big banks. And now he wants to let
the states go bankrupt.

On Friday Mitch McConnell announced he wants to bring back the
Senate, and the hundreds of support personnel it needs to
operate -- even while the National Capital Region is trying to
cope with a major COVID-19 outbreak. Why is it worth risking
people's lives? The answer: to vote on the confirmation of an
unqualified federal judge candidate that happens to be Mitch's
friend!

This outrage has to end. We need to build momentum to Ditch
Mitch and Dump Trump by closing out April strong.

This election is a choice between the best qualified candidate
ever to run for president and someone who told the American
people to DRINK BLEACH.

In Senate races, it's a choice between people who are qualified,
compassionate, and ready to lead -- and head-in-the-sand,
court-packing enablers of the bleach drinker.

Bottom line: it's no choice at all. If you can afford it, please
give by midnight.

We can't bleach out the stain of the Trump GOP's incompetence.
The only way to remove it is by removing him in November and
retaking the Senate.

We need to fight hard until we win,
