Throughout my career, it’s been an honor to fight against the gun lobby’s radical agenda. With the backing of supporters like you, I passed the first ghost gun ban in California and strengthened our gun violence restraining order laws.

In spite of all that we’ve accomplished, I know that we still have so much work ahead. Earlier today, I was horrified to learn about yet another senseless shooting at a high school in our country. Enough is enough –  it’s time to get back to work.

This Saturday, I’m honored to have so many gun violence prevention leaders joining our campaign to knock on doors and speak to voters about our fight for a safer and more affordable California. Can you and a friend register today to join us this Saturday morning, September 7th, at 10 am in the Sunset?

I’ll be ready on day one to get to work in the State Assembly, fighting against the gun lobby and working to pass sensible gun violence prevention legislation. We’re all sick and tired of the senseless violence – it’s time to get to work. Thank you so much for standing with us.
