I first went to that parade in 2001. Back then, Virginia had not voted for a Democrat for president for nearly 40 years.
But in the last four elections, Virginians have overwhelmingly voted for Democrats to represent us in the White House — and I believe we’ll do it again this November.
Many wonder why one of the reddest states in the country shifted so heavily toward the Democratic Party…

Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, unemployment is at near record lows and the stock market is at near record highs. The uninsured rate is at the lowest it's been in the history of the United States. America is building again. America is manufacturing again.

For years, insurance companies could discriminate against you because you had a pre-existing condition. Democrats fixed that without a single Republican vote.
Pharmaceutical companies used to be able to charge us whatever the heck they wanted, especially to seniors under Medicare. Democrats fixed that. Now, we're negotiating prescription drug prices. We're saving American taxpayers and seniors $7.5 billion a year. We couldn't get one Republican vote for that. I’ll say it again: We couldn't get one single Republican vote for $35-a-month insulin.

Democrats support and expand NATO, growing critical alliances around the globe.
Democrats put bipartisan immigration and border security reform proposals on the table — which only didn’t pass because Donald Trump told Republicans to vote against them (seriously!).
Republicans don’t want to fix the problem; they want to complain about the problem.
America needs leaders who will fix the problem — and Democrats deliver.
