John,
Here in Upper and Northern Michigan, we know what it means to work hard - and I come from a line five generations back in our district of gritty, resilient people like my 92-year-old grandma.

Don't be fooled by the knit cardigan sweater. She is one tough lady.
Granny’s not afraid to use a chainsaw. She got pecked by a rooster and took care of it with her bare hands, saying, "Looks like dinner." And on her 60th birthday, she singlehandedly shingled the roof on the hunting camp cabin.
When I think about her strength and determination, there are promises I want to keep: protecting social security and Medicare from privatization, ensuring the rights her generation fought for–like democracy, women’s right to healthcare, and a strong middle class–are upheld and continue to flourish.
This campaign is fighting for a future that honors the hard work of those who came before us. But I can’t do it without your support. Will you chip in $10 or whatever you can to support my campaign?

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Callie
