The 2016 presidential election was decided by less than 80,000 votes. In 2020, only about 1-in-3 eligible voters are registered. This is unacceptable. This election year, building Black voter turnout is how we can change the course of this country.

Life as we know it has changed drastically, but I refuse to sit back and let this historical election creep up on us. Every day we wait to take action is a wasted opportunity.

We know the COVID-19 crisis will undoubtedly impact our elections. And right-wing politicians will take every opportunity to use this crisis to suppress the Black vote.
