Texas attorney general tries to block county from mailing voter registration forms
* Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) sued ([link removed]) one of the state’s most populous counties to block its plan to mail out over 200,000 voter registration forms to residents, claiming the move will "facilitate fraud."
* The Bexar County Commissioners Court voted Tuesday to hire a third-party vendor to print and send out 210,000 applications “in hopes of getting 75,000 new registrants,” according to Paxton’s lawsuit.

Right-wing group files lawsuit to remove voters from every Arizona county
* America First Legal, the right-wing group founded by former President Donald Trump advisor Stephen Miller, sued ([link removed]) all 15 counties in Arizona on Tuesday, challenging their practices for removing noncitizens from the voter rolls.

ACLU sues Michigan county official, argues he must certify 2024 election
* The ACLU of Michigan and two voters sued ([link removed]) a member of the Kalamazoo County Board of Canvassers on Tuesday after he claimed that he won’t certify the 2024 election if it’s “stolen” from Trump.
* In the lawsuit, the ACLU noted that disputes over election certification have been occurring all over the state and that the “threat of a disruption of the electoral system in Michigan this November is very real.”

RNC defends anti-democratic rules passed by Georgia State Election Board
* The Republican National Committee filed ([link removed]) a motion to intervene in the Democratic National Committee’s lawsuit challenging new rules passed by the Georgia State Election Board that could delay election certification this fall. The Republicans are seeking to defend the rules in court.

Arkansas Republicans appeal pro-voting decision to 8th Circuit
* Today, Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston (R) and the State Board of Election appealed ([link removed]) a pro-voting decision to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
* Last week, a federal judge ruled ([link removed]) that Arkansans can register to vote online with an electronic signature, blocking the state's requirement that registration forms be submitted with a pen-on-paper signature for the 2024 election.
