Now that Pennsylvania schools are back in session, our campaign to #KeepKidsSafe is also in full swing.
Part of that campaign is tapping into the concerns that parents and guardians across the Commonwealth share about gun violence in school zones. We created a survey to gauge the level of fear and anguish parents feel as this new school year begins, so we can galvanize our leaders to take real action.
In order to produce a meaningful sample to share with legislators, we set a goal to collect 500 responses by September 15. We have a short time frame to tell a story as big as our Commonwealth, and we need your help . Will you take 2 minutes to share your concerns with us ( and feel empowered to add a personal story!)?
TAKE THE SURVEY [[link removed]]
Taking the time to understand how every community has been shaken by gun violence is a prerequisite to facing it head-on. So we’re casting a wide net: collecting 500 responses to share with the public and our state lawmakers.
And if you’re not a parent of school-aged children, you can still help – forward this email to 5 parent friends to help us build a critical mass of participants.
We have just over two weeks to collect stories from across the Commonwealth and stitch them into a compelling narrative to educate our legislators and the public about how gun violence permeates every community in Pennsylvania. So I’m asking you again: will you take two minutes to add your voice to our largest storytelling project of 2024?
