Every day should be Labor Day friend.
From Rock Island to East Moline, I was touched to celebrate this long weekend honoring the American Labor Movement -- and all the workers keeping this country running.

Some of my best moments in Congress and on the campaign trail have been standing alongside local unions in Illinois fighting for better pay and jobs.

But showing up is one thing, and acting is another. And I am proud of my 100% pro-labor voting record in Congress.
When I say I support the rights of working people, I mean it! And I’ve got their back for as long as it takes.

I am proud to stand with labor each and every day I serve in Congress, and I'll continue to fight for policies like paid leave and affordable child care to support our workers – as long as you’ll let me.
We’re facing an anti-labor opponent in IL-17, and with less than a month before our final FEC fundraising deadline ahead of the election, I could use every last bit of help you can give. If you can, please chip in $5 today to keep the workers’ champion in office in Western Illinois.
Thank you for standing with me and organized labor,
-Eric
