Dear John,

Many Americans feel like the American Dream is slipping through their fingers.

A recent Wall Street Journal poll
<[link removed]>
revealed that while nearly everyone still desires the traditional markers of
success—including owning a home—far too many believe those goals are now
unattainable. Indeed, only 1-in-10 Americans think owning a home is easy to
attain.

Reckless government spending has resulted in a cost-of-living crisis, coupled
with soaring interest rates that have made the prosperity feel out of reach for
millions of Americans.

But here's the thing: the American Dream is far from dead! It’s not out of
reach, but we need to hold Washington accountable for reckless spending bills
that have driven the cost-of-living crisis.

At Americans for Prosperity, we know the key to reigniting the American Dream
lies in empowering people, not expanding government.

We can achieve economic prosperity for all by equipping Americans across the
country to make their voices heard and hold the government accountable for the
disastrous economic policies that have made life more difficult.

Take smart budgeting: a comprehensive budget — as opposed to the 12 or more
spending bills Congress usually considers — could help fix the economy in
America by forcing lawmakers to budget responsibly and get serious about
reducing inflation.

Here’s what you can do: take a moment to contact your lawmakers to tell them
to reject reckless spending and support responsible budgets!

Sign the Pledge

From fighting against reckless spending and harmful regulations to promoting
policies that expand freedom and opportunity, we’re committed to ensuring that
everyone has a fair shot at achieving their dreams.

By embracing real, comprehensive budget reforms that rein in spending and
balance the budget in the long term, we can reignite the American Dream for
millions.

This is not just a fight for the future—it’s a fight for the soul of our
nation. We’re not giving up, and neither should you. The American Dream is
still possible, and together, we can make it a reality for millions of
Americans.

Let’s keep pushing forward. Let’s make sure that prosperity is possible for
everyone.

Thank you for your support,

Kent Strang
