Hi John,

This election, we have big opportunities to shape the kind of future we want for our neighbors and communities. And here in California, we have a transformative opportunity to change the affordable housing game in our state for the better.

This is why NPH is ready to fight for Proposition 5, a statewide measure that enables Californians to address the affordable housing and public infrastructure needs in their communities by empowering them to approve bonds for affordable housing, critical public infrastructure, and emergency response with a 55% vote.

I can’t overstate the critical opportunity that lies before us: we have a chance to change the affordable housing game in California for the better, equipping local communities to decide what’s best for their affordable housing needs.

👉 What’s Next? Dive into the strategy and ways to engage for Prop 5 by attending the Yes on Prop 5 Campaign Kickoff, Friday, September 6th at 10:00 AM.

It has taken several years of movement- and relationship-building to arrive at this moment. Together, we’ve secured big wins over the years and we won’t stop now in the fight for housing justice.

NPH wholeheartedly endorses Prop 5 because we believe in taking a stand for what’s right. Will you join us in this fight for housing justice?

Thank you for believing in our work and that transformative change is possible. Make no mistake – the needle has moved and we’re closer to affordable housing justice than yesterday. Your tremendous expertise and courage are what we need now to win.

Over the next 60 days, it is critical that we remain united, work in partnership, and keep our eye on the prize: an affordable and thriving future for Bay Area residents who need our help to stay in the communities they love.

Onward,
