ADL Facilitates 30 Trainings for 650 Jewish Teens
ADL’s Europe team

facilitated 30 Words to Action training sessions for 650 Jewish teens from 14 countries at the European Maccabi Youth Games held in August in London, often referred to as the “Jewish Olympics.” These sessions equipped young Jewish athletes with the tools to respond to antisemitism in everyday life – both on and off the field. The alarming rise of antisemitism during major sporting events, such as the recent 2024 Olympic Games, underscores the urgent need to tackle this issue head-on.
In response to the recent sharp global rise of antisemitic attitudes and antisemitic incidents, “Words to Action” has become a highly sought-after educational program for Jewish youth to understand and effectively address antisemitism, anti-Israel bias, stereotypes, prejudice, and hate speech. As part of the

Haniyeh in his Own Words
A new ADL blog examines the misleading portrayal of Ismail Haniyeh after he was killed on July 31, 2024, in Tehran. Haniyeh was a leader within Hamas, a US-designated Islamist terror organization dedicated to the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. Since his death, some have inaccurately labeled Haniyeh as a “moderating force”, separate from Hamas' extreme ideology and terrorist actions. However, nothing could be further from the truth—Hamas' ideology and terrorism were deeply integral to Haniyeh's own operations and statements.

Far-Right UK Riots Blamed on Israel by Conspiracy Theorists
Following the tragic murder of three young girls at a dance class in Southport, far-right riots erupted across the United Kingdom, fueled by the false attribution of the attack to a Muslim migrant. A new ADL blog delves into the disturbing trend of Israel being scapegoated as the cause of these riots—a baseless claim that rapidly spread across social media. This dangerous rhetoric contributed to rising anxiety among British Jews, a community already grappling with a significant spike in antisemitic incidents.
