Our friends at the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) report that in 2023, there were 33 major work stoppages with some 458,900 workers involved. Union momentum remains strong, with 2023 seeing more major strikes than in the last two decades, and we've seen that momentum continue into 2024. On behalf of the unionized staff here at Action Network & Action Builder (follow the Action Squared Union on Twitter here!), we are proud to work in solidarity alongside our union partners in the fight.

Another reminder about our brand new action type on Action Network: Surveys! Surveys allow you to create multi-page forms to survey your activists. Each survey page is flexible — you can have one or more questions with an optional title and description. You can also create conditional pages and send your survey-takers down personalized paths based on how they answer questions.
On September 13th at 1pm ET, Mari Vangen-Strom, Action Network's Product Director, will host a training to walk you through this new feature and provide examples of how you can use it to help power your work. Click here to RSVP.
