The tide is turning against the carbon tax and this is your chance to jump into the fight.

You’ve probably heard the Trudeau government try to spin you and claim you get more money back in rebates than you pay in carbon taxes.

That math doesn’t add up and here’s why.

Not only do you pay the carbon tax, you also pay sales tax on top of the carbon tax.

The GST on the carbon tax will cost taxpayers like you almost $600 million this year and more than $1 billion annually by 2030. None of that tax-on-tax money is rebated back to you.

Here’s how taxpayers are fighting back against the carbon tax and government spin.

Taxpayers who signed our carbon tax petition hired a national polling firm to ask Canadians what they think of the carbon tax-on-tax.

The poll shows 62 per cent of Canadians oppose the carbon tax-on-tax. Only 22 per cent support it. The rest were unsure.

If you’re ready to join the taxpayer army to scrap the carbon tax, then here’s what you can do: sign the petition to scrap the carbon tax. That’s the first step.

Your government’s carbon tax is an unfair hit to Canadian families, businesses and rural communities.

The carbon tax increases the price of fuel, food and clothing, and will mean lost jobs and bankrupt businesses.

The carbon tax will hit Canadians particularly hard, where driving is a necessity.

Our economy is fragile and the last thing it needs is to pay more tax.
