Our second annual Level Up cocktail reception to kick off Congressional Black Caucus Week is almost here! Emerge’s Black Leadership Circle is hosting this event to celebrate Seated Together, Emerge’s first in the nation advanced candidate leadership program designed specifically for Black women who aspire to run for higher office.
The program was co-founded by Congresswoman Emilia Sykes, (OH-13) and Colorado state Rep. Leslie Herod. Join us on Tuesday, September 10th from 6-8pm ET to hear from Emerge President A’shanti F. Gholar and other leading voices as we celebrate Black women elected officials and their impact in their communities. Members of the third cohort of Seated Together will also be in town for the occasion. I hope you can attend and meet them!
