License of Skagit County MD Summarily Restricted

OLYMPIA, WA – In June 2024, the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) summarily restricted the license of Skagit County physician David B. Benson (Lic. #0004039) pending further disciplinary proceedings by the WMC.

The WMC alleges that Dr. Benson failed to appropriately treat pregnant patients and newborn infants in sixteen separate instances. Dr. Benson is prohibited from practicing obstetrics and newborn care while his license is restricted.
