The STARR Collection closes Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024.
CEPI analysts will be available for troubleshooting and assistance through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Users should strive to certify their data in advance of the collection close date.
Below are the data quality snapshot dates:
- Mid 1 Snapshot: Sept. 9
- Mid 2 Snapshot: Oct. 1
- Post Snapshot: Oct. 16

Recordings of the 2024 Postsecondary Training Conference are now available on the CEPI postsecondary web page in the Help and Training section.
It is best practice to acquire and assign UICs at student enrollment. This ensures the identifiers are associated with scholarship/grant recipients and enables complete reporting, which can be used to demonstrate program and institutional success through:
- Cross institutional programs within an academic school year such as Early Middle College, Dual Enrollment, Reconnect and Future for Frontliners
- Data sharing within institutional offices such as Registrars and Financial Aid
- Data sharing within state offices such as CEPI, MiLEAP and LEO
- Program efficacy
The IHE Request for UIC Collection is open year round.
Visit MI School Data to view the new Report Builder tool, which lets users create custom datasets using MI School Data metrics. CEPI has also updated the College Readiness Report (Includes SAT Data).
