Experts have told us that Medicare for All would save $13 trillion over the course of 10 years, and that’s not just a number.
That’s $13 trillion that American families won’t be spending on deductibles and copays, but will be spending on things like education, saving for a house, or even finally taking that family vacation.
But already, corporate PACs and insurance industry lobbyists are mobilizing to halt Medicare for All’s incredible momentum. That’s why we’re building a powerful, national movement to fight for working-class folks on Capitol Hill, and ensure access to care for all Americans.
Governing isn’t about doing what’s easy — it’s about doing what’s right. Every day that goes by where one of our neighbors gets sicker because they don’t have access to the basic human right of health care is a moral failing on this nation.
But if we stand together — if we do the work — and refuse to compromise our principles, I know that we can win.
In solidarity,
