Dear What's On subscribers As lockdown continues, we thought we'd come back this week with some of the amazing online resources and activities from cultural organisations across Nottinghamshire, as well as some great resources from Nottingham City Council and Visit Nottinghamshire that offer further advice and entertainment.
StoryParks
A summer of ?In?magination ? taking StoryParks to the people
This week sees popular parks project StoryParks, go digital!
Last year, StoryParks delivered free interactive story dens across seven of the city?s Green Flag parks.?
Restrictions this year mean StoryParks is starting the year indoors. The team will be uploading new content every week covering activities from storytelling and music to financial literacy, and wellbeing. Videos and podcasts will be hosted by a range of local entertainers including Curious Nottingham, Rainbow Stripes, Louise Chambers Yoga, Beatfeet, and storyteller Nicky Rafferty.
Children will love searching their surroundings for mini beasts with Ranger Matt, hearing stories read by firefighters from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue and answering Gary Moran from Nottingham Panthers as he asks - who?s your hero?
