Will Congress Act on Abortion in 2025? It Can and It Must |
by Chuck Donovan |
It's hard reality that one of the primary actions planned by the Democratic Party and an incoming Harris-Walz administration will be to enact a bill to protect legal abortion up to birth (and malign neglect of those few babies who survive late-term procedures). But what about the Republicans? After decades of declaring support for federal protections for the unborn, their standard bearer says he opposes a federal role, and his running mate now says that a second-term President Trump will veto any "national abortion ban." |

PERKINS: More Government Oversight of Parents Is Not the Answer |
by Tony Perkins |
This past week, U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy released a surgeon general's advisory focusing on the mental health and well-being of parents. The advisory states, in part, "Parents and caregivers today face tremendous pressures from familiar stressors, such as worrying about their kids health and safety and financial concerns, to new challenges like navigating technology and social media." It continues, "I am calling for a fundamental shift in how we value and prioritize the mental health and well-being of parents. I am also outlining policies, programs, and individual actions we can all take to support parents and caregivers." |

'Religion Won't Save': More of Nashville Shooter's Manifesto Released |
by Ben Johnson |
The mass murderer who killed six people at a Christian school in Nashville left instructions for the media to refer to her by her transgender name "Aiden," believed deeply in extreme gender ideology and critical theory, and believed death constituted part of the "deconstruction" of an old society that would be followed by a "reconstruction" ushering in "LGBTQ rights." Hale idolized the Columbine high school shooters and hated "conservative religion." On one page, she appears to have drawn an inverted cross and the number 666. |

Gold Star Family Members Blast Kamala as 'Unfit to Serve as Commander-in-Chief' |
by S.A. McCarthy |
The Democratic nominee for president is being eviscerated for dishonoring and disrespecting American military veterans and fallen servicemen. Last week marked three years since a suicide bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport's Abbey Gate in Afghanistan killed 13 U.S. servicemembers, which happened during the Biden-Harris administration's ill-fated military withdrawal from the region. On August 26, former President Donald Trump attended a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery commemorating and honoring the slain soldiers. Although neither incumbent President Joe Biden nor his vice president, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, attended the ceremony, Harris criticized Trump's presence at the event, calling it a "political stunt." |

Biden-Harris Admin. Keeps Pressure on Israel after Hamas Executes 6 More Hostages |
by Dan Hart |
As Israel Defense Force (IDF) soldiers closed in for an attempted rescue of six Israeli hostages held in a tunnel underneath Rafah, Hamas terrorists executed them on Saturday, according to reports. Experts say the Biden-Harris administration's continued pressure on Israeli leadership to reach a deal with the terrorist group has shifted pressure away from Hamas and only further incentivizes future hostage-taking. |

by Joshua Arnold |
An Alabama law protecting minors from gender transition procedures remains in effect after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit declined to rehear the case. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall (R) called the decision "a big win to protect children from these untested and life-altering chemical and surgical procedures."

Expert: Florida's Amendment 4 Is 'Extremely Broad,' 'Radical,' and 'Deceptive' |
by Sarah Holliday |
Pro-lifers are sounding the alarm on Florida's 2024 ballot initiative, Amendment 4, which, if passed, would not only end Florida's six-week pro-life protection but would "enshrine" abortion into the state's constitution. As the initiative states, "No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient's health, as determined by the patient's healthcare provider." |

Judge Blocks HHS Rule That Would Override SAFE Acts |
by Joshua Arnold |
A federal judge on Friday expanded and tailored an order protecting federally funded health care providers and state insurance plans from a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) rule that would require them to provide gender transition procedures. The initial order, issued July 3, applied only to Texas and Montana. However, at the states' request, Judge Jeremy D. Kernoble applied the order nationwide, reasoning that "the provisions of the Final Rule challenged here are unlawful as to all participants, not just the Plaintiffs in this case." |

What Is on Jesus's Policy Agenda? |
by Joshua Arnold |
Election years are often filled with discussions about the candidates' policy agendas - whether they are genuine, whether they can enact them, and whether they will work. Sometimes it's invigorating to support a candidate who reflects your values. Sometimes it's discouraging when there seem to be no good options. Sometimes it's disorienting when candidates sprint away from their long-held positions. |

College Students' 'Reluctance to Discuss Controversial Issues' Is 'Both a Challenge and Opportunity' |
by Sarah Holliday |
Charlie Kirk, a conservative radio talk show host and internet personality, is well known for going to college campuses to try and engage students in conversation. On one occasion, a student asked Kirk, "Why are you here?" To which he replied, "When people stop talking, really bad stuff starts. When marriages stop talking, divorce happens. When civilization stops talking, civil war ensues. When you stop having a human connection with someone you disagree with, it becomes a lot easier to want to commit violence against that group." |
