Serious question – what is with JD Vance?!
First, we heard Vance’s comments about “miserable, childless cat ladies,” and then his belief that people with kids should get more votes than everyone else.
Now, we hear in Vance’s own words about how teachers who do not have biological children “disorient and really disturb” him.
You know what ‘disorients and really disturbs’ me? Vance’s obsession with whether or not women give birth, and his extreme policies that rob us of our choices.
Vance, Trump, and my own MAGA opponent need to be held accountable for these dangerous beliefs and policies – we can’t let them take their extreme agenda to the White House and Congress. Will you chip in to my re-election campaign right now to help make sure I can win big in November?
Vance makes it clear that he thinks women need to be moms to have value – but only if they’re the ‘right kind’ of moms, of course. He’s even said Kamala Harris isn’t a mom, though she’s known as “momala” to her two step-kids.
I can’t believe this has to be said out loud, but here we are: Step-parents are parents. LGBTQ+ parents are parents. Parents who use fertility treatments and IVF are parents. And sometimes, our parents are simply the people who step up – extended family, grandparents (JD Vance knows this firsthand!), and even teachers.
Vance might not understand what makes a family, but the American people do – and in November, we need to send a message to Republicans that their extreme anti-woman and anti-family agenda doesn’t work for us.
Together, I know we can elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and flip the House. But Democrats are still the underdogs in this election, so I’m asking for your help. Will you pitch in to my re-election campaign today so we can send a powerful message in November?
