1. Your monthly support provides World Animal Protection with the funds needed to continue dismantling the global systems that cause billions of animals to suffer every year. It allows us to continue putting pressure on corporations to adopt animal-friendly practices and alternatives and on governments to enact better and more robust protections and legislation for all animals.

2. Your monthly gift allows us to advance our animal rescue missions like that of Baloo, a bear who was robbed of his freedom more than 23 years ago. As you read this, Baloo remains trapped in a cage at a Romanian Ski resort. But we won’t let up the pressure until we free him. Your support allows us to advocate for him to the Romanian government and is helping to build our legal case for his release.

3. When disaster strikes, your monthly gift means we can provide our partners with additional resources to increase their capacity to treat the wild animals affected. When wildfires broke out in the Pantanal region of Brazil, we were able to provide ongoing support to our partners at Instituto Tamanduá to rehabilitate orphaned giant anteater cubs. We are proud to say that after two years of rehabilitation and care, they have been successfully released back into the wild!
