Hi, team – it’s Jacky. I just made a really important decision, and I owe you an explanation.

In campaigns, there’s something called the “Post-Labor Day Sprint,” and it’s when everything kicks into high gear. Outside spending skyrockets and both sides rush to reach persuadable voters before ballots are sent out.

National Republicans, their super PACs, and dark money groups dramatically scaled up their attacks against me in August. But if you think the $10 million they spent in August ALONE was a lot, just wait until you see what they have in store in September.

We’re doing everything we can to respond to their attacks and keep our footing, but our costs are ramping up – and we had no choice but to raise our fundraising goals for this final sprint, by A LOT. We need to raise at least $100,000 every day this month – more than double what we did in August.

I know that sounds big – and it is – but I’ve seen what this team is capable of, and I KNOW we will rise to the occasion.
