A road map for public media |
Applications close this week for Poynter's pioneering Digital Transformation Program, funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
The training, offered free to public media journalists and their stations, builds on the success of the first transformation program, which trained hundreds of leaders and station personnel and led to millions in new digital revenue and users/subscribers.
“This program provides transformation on multiple dimensions,” said program co-lead Quentin Hope. “We offer a tested framework for station teams to make real gains, which is the basis of the design of the program.”
Stations and personnel who already participated in the first DTP or a similar program will be able to apply for the Advanced track, which will begin recruiting in January 2025.
Read more about the program's two tracks and application process, but hurry! Applications close this Friday.

Read the report in its entirety, or check out this Q&A by Poynter senior media writer Tom Jones featuring Poynter President Neil Brown, one of the authors of the report. |
