Fellow American, You may already know who I am from my basketball career. Or, maybe you're just hearing about me for the first time through my Senate Campaign. Either way, I wanted to formally introduce myself and share my story. Afterward, I'm going to ask you to send a small contribution to my campaign as I continue to fight to Flip the Senate Red. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, mainly in the Rondo Community of St. Paul. At the age of five, I started playing sports, and at nine years old, I was already playing basketball on the Northside of Minneapolis. My mother was a single mother who worked tirelessly to give me a better life. I went to school in Rondo and began to excel at basketball. By 10th grade, I was ranked as a top 20 player in the country. I remember dreaming of reaching the NBA one day– a dream shared by millions of kids.  I accepted a scholarship at the University of Minnesota, but shortly after transferred to Iowa State. There, I won multiple basketball awards while working hard in class and being named on the Dean's List for academics.  Finally, my dream came true. I was selected in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft, going to the Houston Rockets. While playing at the highest level of basketball competition in the world, I began to voice concerns about the NBA's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), specifically regarding mental health policy, which at the time did not exist. Eventually, my concerns became a dispute between the NBA and myself, until I demanded that the NBA spearhead the mental health conversation through policy. This led to the end of my NBA career, but my work led to the NBA implementing policies to support players' mental health.  I gave up my dream of playing in the NBA to stand up for something I fully believe in. That experience gave me the courage to run for Congress in 2022 and for Senate in 2024. More on that later. After leaving the NBA, I took my talents to Canada, playing professional basketball and winning two championships. Then, I joined the BIG 3 Basketball Tournament, a professional 3 on 3 league; I still play today.  It was at this point that I became increasingly vocal about standing up for the core principles that I believe in. I've continued to be outspoken on taboo subjects, like freeing the Uyghurs, the Federal Reserve, Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Muammar Gaddafi, and many others. I'm not afraid to speak up and say the silent part out loud. I will never just shut up and dribble. In 2022, I decided to run for Congress against Radical Leftist and Squad Founder, Ilhan Omar. The Deep State Democrats lined her pocket with millions of dollars to beat me, and I came up short.  Now, I'm running for United States Senate to defeat lifelong politician Amy Klobuchar. She represents the Radical Left's Elites who would rather see America become the next Communist China or Soviet Russia. The Industrial Media Complex will continue to spread false narratives claiming that I have little chance of winning. But they continue to ignore my strong grassroots movement with the American People, who are sick and tired of being overstepped, ignored, and told to accept the policies that our Liberal Leaders force down our throats. We CAN win, but it's going to take the help of a huge grassroots movement. That's why I'm emailing you today, friend. We have a chance to make history by electing the youngest US Senator and the first one born in the 1990s. I am humbly asking you to send my campaign a small donation of whatever you can afford.
