Friend,
I’m sorry for emailing you this late, but I just couldn’t sleep. I’m awake because I’m worried about our future, as many of us are. I’m concerned about the spillover of crime from what is going on in Chicago, about the sluggish economy, falling wages and increasing prices of goods. Millions of people pouring through the Southern border unvetted and a real possibility of a foreign conflict escalating into war. There is a better way.
That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Congress, because we need new leadership in Washington. Leadership that is willing to engage with the community and understands the concerns of folks who are also up late, worried about the future of their families, community and America as a whole.
When I get to Congress, I will put an end to the inflation by fighting against the over-spending in Washington, cutting regulations for small business owners and working across the aisle to solve the border crisis, the rising cost of energy, goods and housing, so that everyone has a chance at the American Dream.
My opponent doesn’t understand what it is like to worry about a mortgage payment, and that’s why he won’t debate, discuss substantive policy or show up to many community events even after more than a decade in office!
