This week marks 2 years since Greg Abbott’s so-called “Texas Heartbeat” law went into effect. For the past two years, we have been witness to all the negative impacts of the abortion ban.

We now have heard countless stories of women in Texas who were not able to get the care they needed and doctors who fear being prosecuted for providing care. During this time, both infant and maternal mortality rates have increased.

And while Texans suffer, Beth Van Duyne has been in Washington pushing for a national abortion ban.
