We are excited to inform you about the upcoming National Center for Victims of Crime, National Training Institute, taking place from September 18-20, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. This event is a unique opportunity for advocates, survivors, and professionals in the field of victim services to come together, share insights, and learn from one another.

Event Highlights:

• Workshops & Panels: Engage in a variety of sessions led by experts in trauma recovery, victim advocacy, and public safety.

• In-Depth Training: Gain valuable skills and knowledge to enhance your work in supporting victims and advocating for safer communities. 

We are also thrilled to announce that our Californians for Safety and Justice team will be hosting a workshop titled "Safety is More Than the Absence of Crime, it is the Presence of Well-Being: Influencing Narratives on Crime, Violence Prevention, and Healing by Elevating the Voice of Crime Survivors and People with Records." The workshop will take place on September 19th at 3:30 PM.
